A dark-haired woman wearing a long dress and carrying a parasol, is standing next to a soda fountain counter. A man, dressed in a dark vest, long sleeved white shirt and bow tie, is standing behind the counter. Metal stools are arranged in front of the counter, and many items may be seen displayed behind glass cases on either side of a wide aisle. The number “316” has been written on the emulsion side of the negative and is visible in the upper right corner of the picture. No number has been written in the upper left corner.
