[Three Men on Narrow Boat]
Title
[Three Men on Narrow Boat]
Creator
Hoffman, Peter B.
Description
Three men, from left to right, Edward Hoffmann, Emil Youngblood, and Albert D. Hoffmann are sitting in a boat along the bank of a creek or backwater of the Mississippi River. Thee men are fishing and each are holding a rod with a line in the water and are wearing hats. Two oars are on opposite sides of Youngblood. The boat is against the bank where there is a tree jutting out from the side of the bank with its roots exposed. The tree is growing at diagonal, over the water. The waterway extends behind the men and wraps around a tree-filled bank. The water is calm and the reflections of the three men are visible. The boat is raised towards the bank and more sunken towards Albert's end.
