[Four Men Stand and Sit on Bank of Waterway]

There is a waterway of some sort in the center of the photograph that appears to be the backwaters of the Mississippi River. Between this body of water, there is a piece of land, and behind the land is a bigger body of water, presumably the Mississippi River. Four men are in the foreground of the photograph. The man on the left is wearing a suit and hand and is standing, facing the photographer. To his left, and the photograph's right is a man standing and learning against a thin tree. His left leg is raised in the air, resting on something. He is facing the water and wearing a derby style hat. The man's mustache is visible from the contrast of the light colored water. to the right is a man sitting on a trunk of a tree, wearing a hat, and facing the water. This man is holding a fishing pole, and another fishing pole is sitting behind the man, resting against the trunk of the tree. To the right is another man who is facing the rest of the men. He is wearing a hat and is holding a pipe in his mouth with his left hand. The man is standing in the water, with his right leg in the water with the water level coming just above his ankle. His left leg is raised high, and resting on the trunk of the tree. His right hand is also holding on to the trunk of the tree and he is slightly slouched over. The men are in a clearing, where trees are on either side of them.
