Albert Hoffmann, Emil Youngblood, and Edward Hoffmann are fishing along the banks of a waterway. Edward Hoffmann is to the right of the photograph and he is sitting on the edge of the boat on the bank of the waterway. A leafless tree stands behind him and extends over the water. Emil Youngblood stands in the middle of the long, narrow boat with a fishing pole in his right hand with his left hand on his hip. His pole is extended towards the photographer with the fishing line in the water. To his right, but the photograph's left, is Albert Hoffmann, who is sitting down looking at the water where is fishing pole is over the water, and the line in the water. Behind them is a marsh area with weeds, grass, and trees. The boat, Albert, and the unknown man's reflections can be see in the water.
