A man is seen in the middle of the photograph working on a machine. He is wearing a dark coverall work suit with a matching hat on his head. He is seen holding a part of a machine that extends behind him and is connected to a large rod with a possible water source connected to it. There are two men standing behind and to the left of the man watching him. Everyone is in a machine shop type room with work benches all around. There are also windows in the background of the building. There are large gears in the bottom right hand corner of the photograph, but are cut off by the photographer.
