[A 4th of July picnic in Dubuque, Iowa]

A group of nineteen men and women are casually seated on a rocky hillside. The photographer’s notes indicate that they were members of Asbury Methodist Episcopal Church where he was a pastor. This image may have been taken on July 4, 1916. See LO 173 for a dated image of a 4th of July picnic. The number 1383 is written on a label that has been stuck to the lower left corner of the slide.
