[Loading an ore freighter in the Ashland, Wisconsin harbor]

Four young boys are standing at the water’s edge of what the photographer has identified as the Ashland, Wisconsin harbor. Two of the boys appear to be twins. Three fishermen are also visible. An ore freighter is being loaded near a long dock. The number 1912 is written on a label that has been stuck to the lower left corner of the slide.
