Description

A male customer, possibly one of the photographers, is standing with his back to the camera at a counter in this office. He appears to be filling out a paper form. Four women and two men are seated at desks on the other side of the counter, while three other men are standing in the rear of the office. A large bell and other communications equipment are mounted on one of the walls over a desk on which may be seen large books. The bottom of the photograph has been damaged. The number “223” has been written on the emulsion side of the negative and is visible in the upper right corner of the picture. The number “5” has been written in the upper left corner.
