Description

Five men are packing wooden crates in a warehouse at the Dubuque Brewing and Malting Company. One of these individuals has been tentatively identified as James Hayes. Tall stacks of wooden crates with the Company logo are visible along the left side of the image. Wooden boards for constructing the crates may be seen next to the work table. No number has been written on the emulsion side of the negative in the upper right corner of the picture. The number “2” has been written in the upper left corner.
